
Dara Nicole – Documentary Producer and Wellness Advocate
Dara Nicole is a Nicaraguan-born documentary producer and storyteller based in Los Angeles, California. A graduate of Emerson College with a degree in Media Arts Production, Dara has worked as an Associate Producer on documentaries recognized at prestigious industry events such as DOC NYC and the IDFA Flagship Forum. She is a 2022 Fellow for the Film Independent + CNN Original Series Docu-Series Intensive and a participant in AIDC's Leading Lights talent development program. Her fiction and non-fiction short films have premiered at international festivals across Latin America and Los Angeles, reflecting her dedication to crafting narratives that explore global contemporary issues.
In addition to her work in film, Dara has over five years of experience in event production, marketing, and community outreach for international nonprofits. She has coordinated yoga retreats in Los Angeles and Madrid, blending mindfulness practices with transformative experiences, and leads a documentary summer camp for rural children in Nicaragua. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dara combines creative vision with logistical expertise to inspire connection and understanding through storytelling and wellness-focused initiatives.
